IURC Indiana Dig Law Update
The Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission (IURC) has issued a Rulemaking (IURC RM #22-03) affecting Indiana's Dig Law, effective Friday, January 5th, 2024.
Some of the more notable changes are:
- How the working day notice is calculated
- Tolerance zone clarification
- Requiring pipeline operators to participate in Indiana 811’s Positive Response system
- Three codes (3C, 3F, 3G) will have additional fields (some are required) enabled in Indiana 811’s Positive Response system
