The New and Improved Indiana811.org!

We’re happy to share that Indiana 811’s new website has officially launched! This brand-new site, complete with a fresh design and user-friendly navigation, is jam-packed with all things damage prevention. But don’t take our word for it. Check out the new website yourself!

The website is designed to make it easier than ever to process an online ticket, either through the multi-address platform, Web Ticket Entry, or the single-address service, 811NOW. In the upper right corner of the website, there is a “Submit Ticket” button. Clicking on this button will take you to the submit a ticket page, where you can access both the multi-address and single-address ticketing platforms.

Indiana 811’s Software Partnership with 4iQ Solutions

Underground Safety Alliance, the umbrella not-for-profit organization for Indiana 811 and Kentucky 811, recently announced a partnership with 4iQ Solutions to bring 4iQ’s leading software platform to USA 811 notification centers. 4iQ’s software platform Exactix, the most widely selected and fastest-growing platform for U.S. 811 notification centers, will provide Indiana 811 and Kentucky 811 notification centers with a world-class geocoding engine to ensure safe and accurate digging zones. Indiana 811 Hits a Home Run with the Cincinnati Reds!

Indiana 811, Kentucky 811 and OHIO811 recently teamed up with the Cincinnati Reds to promote damage prevention to baseball fans across the Tri-state area. On April 30, 811 took over the Reds’ website homepage, encouraging all to “Know What’s Below” and contact 811 before any digging project. In addition to the homepage takeover, the Reds also shared the “811 before you dig” message on Facebook, reaching thousands of fans!

The Midwest Damage Prevention Training Conference Goes Virtual

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Indiana 811 and Kentucky 811 are announcing the cancellation of the 2020 Midwest Damage Prevention Training Conference. While we will not be able to gather together in French Lick for the MWDPTC this year as usual, we know that damage prevention education is essential and highly valuable to all stakeholders. This fall, Indiana 811 and Kentucky 811 will be hosting virtual online education and training courses to keep stakeholders up to date on the latest trends, laws and best practices in damage prevention, along with a preview of the new Exactix locate request ticketing software that launches next spring.
