WEB TICKET ENTRY USER AGREEMENT
The right to use the Indiana 811 Web Ticket Entry program is a privilege given to you for your convenience by Indiana 811. Failure to comply with all rules governing the submission of locate requests will result in having the privilege to use Web Ticket Entry revoked.
The Indiana 811 Web Ticket Entry program is a free service offered to contractors and utility companies allowing them the convenience of submitting Normal Notice locates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The benefits of using this program to enter your requests include access to print and e-mail copies of your tickets. If the program is not being utilized to enter tickets via the web, or other policies and procedures outlined below or during training are not followed, the web account will be deactivated.
The Web Ticket Entry program requires the Web User to read the reference documents and familiarize themselves with the training materials. In addition, each and every individual intending to use the program must complete a training session with a member of the Indiana 811 staff.
Login information will be given shortly after the training session. DO NOT SHARE THIS INFORMATION. Web Tickets are legal documents and the account holder is held responsible for all information given on each ticket entered on their account. Individuals caught sharing accounts are subject to account suspension or TERMINATION WITHOUT WARNING. Again, Web Ticket Entry is a privilege given to you for your convenience by Indiana 811 and that privilege can be revoked at any time by Indiana 811.
NORMAL REQUESTS ONLY
The Web Ticket Entry program is designed for NORMAL NOTICES ONLY. In addition, you can submit a request for Remarks and Job Extensions on locates you entered via your Web Account. All Emergency, Damage, 2nd Notice and Joint Meet tickets as well as ticket cancelations and corrections must be processed through Indiana 811 by calling 811 or 800-382-5544.
2 FULL WORKING DAY NOTICE
The 2 full working days notice is calculated from the time of entry, excluding weekends, holidays and non-business hours (after Indiana 811’s business hours). The business hours for the Call Center are Monday thru Friday from 7:00am to 6:00pm. All times are Eastern Time.
INDIVIDUAL E-MAIL REQUIREMENTS
All applicants must provide an individual e-mail address. The system will require all Web Users to change their password periodically for security reasons. It is imperative that we have a valid e- mail address on file that is specific to each Web User and cannot be an e-mail that is shared with others. This information is for business purposes only and will not be distributed to anyone outside of Indiana811.
WEB USER RESPONSIBILITY
Each Web Ticket Entry Locate Request will be assigned a ticket number (confirmation number). It is the Web Users responsibility to proof the locate request for correct locate information. The Web User will accept all responsibility for the WEB ENTRY accuracy and authenticity. It is the Web Users responsibility to make sure all tickets are entered according to Indiana State Laws as well as Indiana 811 rules and regulations. The user must contact the Indiana 811 Call Center with any corrections or additions. The WEB ENTRY locate request will inform users of Member Utilities notified. IT IS THE USERS RESPONSIBILITY TO NOTIFY ANY NON-MEMBER COMPANIES. A list of the current Indiana 811 Member Utilities can be obtained on our website at www.indiana811.org.
