Monitoring Solutions for Infrastructure Operators from the Space Economy,” “A More Efficient, Responsive and Safer Damage Prevention Ecosystem,” “Hidden Secrets of Utility Coordination from a Contractor’s Perspective,” “Storytelling Brain,” and “Adapt and Overcome: How to Properly Manage Change and Create Innovation.”

The Fourth Annual “I Dig Summer” Concludes
Each summer, Indiana 811 and Kentucky 811 host the “I Dig Summer” Contest, encouraging excavators to submit locate requests online using Indiana 811’s online ticketing system. During this year’s contest between May 26 and Sept. 1, participants who submitted locate requests online through Exactix Pro, Indiana 811’s new online ticketing system, skipped hold times on the phone and were entered to win monetary prizes which totaled $3,400. Additionally, all new Exactix Pros who had never submitted an online ticket to Indiana 811 received a free “I Dig Summer” contest T-shirt! Indiana 811 would like to thank all “I Dig Summer” participants and remind all excavators to continue to save time by submitting locate requests through Exactix!
Exactix Feature – Attach Photos to Your Locate Request at Creation!
Did you know that Exactix has a feature that allows you to attach photos and other documents to your ticket when you create it? This is another communication tool that allows you to add information that was not collected while creating your locate request, such as a visual reference or projected timelines.

INPAA Corner
INPAA recently attended the Fire and Life Safety Open House at Sugar Creek Fire Department and presented an “After the Hit” presentation to first responders at the Indiana Emergency Response Conference in Indianapolis. Additionally, INPAA participated in Speedway Community Day and sponsored a Touch-A-Truck event.
Tune in to radio stations all across Indiana from South Bend to Evansville this fall to hear the natural gas message from INPAA. Throughout October and November, INPAA will have a total of 2,046 spots and an estimated 1,087,000 impressions to educate the public on Natural Gas Safety.
