Indiana 811 is proud to have brought the safe digging message to thousands of Hoosiers across Indiana this 8/11 Day and throughout the month of August, the height of dig season, and we are proud to present 811 Day 2023 with Indiana 811, an exciting Sizzle Reel highlighting these public awareness efforts.
Indiana 811’s recently unveiled animated educational video, Holey Moley Rocks Safe Diggin’, inspired an entire branding campaign aimed at educating stakeholders, homeowners and children about 811 and the role it plays in keeping communities safe and connected to vital utilities. The new video was displayed on TV, radio stations and gas pumps through Gas Station TV advertising. Additionally, artwork from the video was featured across the Indiana State Fair on Midway flags, shuttles, the family dining plaza, hand sanitizing stations and other prominent locations.
The spotlight continued to shine on Holey Moley, as the beloved mascot took center stage when Indiana 811 and the Indianapolis Indians teamed up for a very special 8/11 Day baseball game at Victory Field, home of the Indianapolis Indians, where the new video was featured between innings, educating baseball fans in a fun and engaging way. At the game, Indiana 811 Director of Marketing Mary Patricia Kindt participated in an interview in which she discussed the importance of always contacting 811 before digging, further promoting damage prevention practices among Hoosiers.
