This decision was made in an effort to streamline costs and modernize ticket delivery methods. To ensure that we have an ample amount of time to update your delivery method to email, please fill out the form indicated below by Friday, December 1, 2023. What are some tips on how to transition to email?

Engage your IT department to discuss possible email options:

  • Create a shared mailbox and give access to all who handle your 811 tickets.
  • Create a generic email (ex: 811locates@yourcompany.com) then apply a distribution list that will automatically forward any ticket sent from tickets@indiana811.org to the emails listed in the distribution list.
  • Set up a rule that will print all emails.
