Safety at all Costs: Introducing VMWDPTC Featured Speaker Mercedes Ramirez Johnson

The Virtual Midwest Damage Prevention Training Conference (VMWDPTC) is less than a month away, and we’re looking forward to a full day of education and networking with fellow damage prevention professionals.

With the safety of our communities and underground utilities the focus of our industry, Indiana 811 and Kentucky 811 are proud to introduce a Featured Speaker who will share a captivating message about safety in the face of the unexpected. Mercedes Ramirez Johnson, a survivor of a commercial plane crash that killed 160 passengers, will tell her compelling story and offer workable solutions to safety initiatives with the reminder that when it comes to safety, experience is never a guarantee.

Join fellow conference members at 1 p.m. ET to hear Mercedes Ramirez Johnson’s unique perspective on safety preparedness. Visit the VMWDPTC website to learn more about the Featured Speaker session, Keynote Speaker Kirk Lippold and additional sessions offered at this year’s conference.

If you haven’t already, be sure to register for the conference, to be held virtually on November 5, 2020. There is no cost to attend the VMWDPTC, but you must register in advance.
